Rocksteady has confirmed they are working on a Suicide Squad game
Rocksteady, the developers behind DC games such as Batman Arkham Asylum, City, and Knight, have finally confirmed that the new game they are working on is Suicide Squad.
If you’ve been keeping up to date with Warner Bros. in any way, you’ll have already known that speculation of what new IPs coming their way has taken up most of Resetera forums. It only got worse when websites linked to the company were found, including a domain with the name of ‘suicidesquadgame.com’. (Via PCGamesN)
The official confirmation comes from Rocksteady’s Twitter account. It showed what looks to be a target on the back of the head of what fans have speculated to be either Superman, or his more twisted mirror image, Bizzaro. Maybe a Suicide Squad versus the Justice League sort of game for next-gen consoles? We have no idea, but it’s always fun to speculate!
Not much more information has been revealed by Rocksteady. Though with DC’s FanDome coming up this August 22nd, we’re sure that more news about Suicide Squad, will be coming our way soon. Maybe if we wish real hard, a Gotham City Sirens game could happen. Ah, a girl can dream.
