Confetti’s Cozy Corner: Vending Dokan!: Cozy Kiosk
From the creators of Sunnyside, Aftabi Games has announced a new title, Vending Dokan!: Kozy Kiosk, a cozy idle sim. Move at your own pace as you build your vending machine empire in Japanese-inspired settings.
Vending Dokan!: Kozy Kiosk invites players to relax and vibe to the chill lo-fi tunes and calming environmental sounds as you multitask with IRL things. You can build, decorate and customize the locations your vending machines are placed, as well as managing your staff and your inventory to attract new customers to maximize sales.
Between customers, the vending machines and street alleys will need to be cleaned to keep attracting customers and maintain a good, clean vibe.
The music is relaxing, and when paired with the occasionally rain sounds in the background, Vending Dokan!: Kozy Kiosk creates the ultimate serene passive experience for an idle cozy game.

Based on visuals alone, I could tell this was made by Aftabi Games. While Vending Dokan!: Kozy Kiosk is only their second title, I’ve played Sunnyside for hours and along with Vending Dokan!: Kozy Kiosk, Aftabi’s masterful method for creating serene environments in their game really stands out. From the music, environmental aesthetics, sound effects and art design, Aftabi Games has a true vision for how they want their games to look and feel.

While the game is in early access, there’s some features I would love to see added to Vending Dokan!: Kozy Kiosk. I enjoy idle games that allow me to listen to music, pass time and progress in the background while I do IRL work simultaneously. So, I feel that tasks such as cleaning should have a toggle option to help gamers who want an true ‘idle’ experience do not have to worry about the cleanliness stars dropping due to lack of customers because they are working IRL.
Moreover, having the ability to create a ‘task list’ within the game and being able to check items off would be an amazing productivity tool to see. While all idlers are not productivity based experiences, I believe that Vending Dokan!: Kozy Kiosk could be, as it feels set up to be one.

As far as customization goes, it would be cool to be able to customize your brand’s logo, the color of the vending machines, and have more items to customize the alleyways. My favorite color is pink, and when I envision my vending machine empire, it definitely includes the color pink!
As a baseline and early access experience, Vending Dokan!: Kozy Kiosk is a very cozy casual idle game. Aftabi Games has a vision for the type of experience they want to give their audience. They are very communicative with their audience and always aim to improve, whether that’s in-game bugs, features or inclusive options when it comes to customization.
As a new studio finding its footing, I foresee things getting better and better for Aftabi Games. I am rooting for their success.
