REMAG – the safe new gaming community app
Gayming LIVE was sponsored by REMAG – the new app to connect with gamers in your community. During LIVE, we were promoting that if you joined the Gayming Community there before the end of October you could be in with a chance of winning an Xbox Series X.
Well, now we’re extending that deadline to the end of November to make sure as many people as possible can benefit from this awesome new app!
REMAG, which is “GAMER” spelled backwards, has just started rolling out in North America, so the LGBTQ+ gaming community will be among the first to join the action and provide feedback to help REMAG in its mission to build a positive space that connects gamers from all walks of life.
Just like the LGBTQ+ takeover of Threads, we have the opportunity to get in on the ground floor here and make sure this community is queer as hell!
In REMAG, members can craft their own unique profile, select their favorite avatar, list the games they love to play, and explore other profiles to discover their perfect gaming companions. Safety is REMAG’s number one priority, so the use of avatars rather than personal pictures ensures that profiles are safe and harassment-free. They’re all about inclusivity and creating a space where everyone feels respected and valued. No toxicity allowed here folks! It’s all about fun and forging real connections.
Alongside individual profiles, REMAG lets you form communities around topics, games, or locations. For example, we have a Gayming Community to help build up our community and let people find each other for gaming. Anyone can make a community, whether it’s around your geographic location, your love of a particular genre of games, or if you’re a community group leader looking to bring your group to REMAG. It’s a great way of cherry-picking the best of Discord, Facebook Groups, and other platforms, but with a specific gaming focus.
Gayming Magazine is partnering up with REMAG to make our gaming community even stronger and more connected than ever. We believe in the power of inclusivity, positivity, and celebrating diversity in gaming. REMAG is the perfect place to bring all of that together.
To celebrate their launch and our LGBTQ+ community, the REMAG team created some custom pride profile frames that you can add to the profile after exploring the app. Also, for anyone that joins the Gayming Community on REMAG before the end of November (extended from the original deadline of October), you could be in with a chance to win an Xbox Series X!
