D&D adds Baldur’s Gate 3 characters to their pre-made selection

If you’ve ever wanted to include Larian Studio’s monumental Baldur’s Gate 3 characters in your D&D campaign, we’ve got great news for you.

D&D (also known as Dungeons and Dragons) is known for its vast settings, full of different characters hailing from the Underdark to the glistening jewel of a city known as Waterdeep. Most importantly, though, it lets you inhabit these worlds without prejudice. If you want to be a hero, a villain, or something in between, you can. It’s as simple as that.

With your world in yours and your players’ hands, Wizards of the Coast has gone that step further to add some familiar Baldur’s Gate 3 characters to your arsenal via DnDBeyond — a digital toolset and game companion players can use as a resource for their games.

Thanks to DnDBeyond’s pre-made character selection, origin characters from everyone’s favourite RPG are now able to be added to your very own D&D campaign. Fancy doing a run of Strahd? Throw Astarion in there for extra vampire hijinks. Exploring Waterdeep? What’s the chance you’ll run into Gale whilst out shopping? Hells, maybe you’re exploring the literal Hells and catch up with Karlach on the way? Anything could happen.

The only downside is that each origin character is only at level 1, meaning stronger abilities when the party is at level 12 are not available. On the plus side, this makes the origin characters perfect for any who are looking to get into D&D, but whose knowledge of it only comes from Baldur’s Gate 3.

You can find the Baldur’s Gate 3 origin character sheets for yourself here.
