There’s not too much to complain about when it comes to Baldur’s Gate 3, but the one thing we can all agree on is the clear struggle on who to pick to be in your party every time you leave camp. Enter one modder with a full party mod — but with a twist!
Gamers who have been playing Baldur’s Gate 3 on PC more than likely already know that there is a variety of mods out there that let you expand your party size, allowing you to take more than just your general 3 (not including yourself) with you on your adventures.
However, these mods usually come with a caveat: gameplay becomes significantly easier, even if you switch to the hardest difficulty of Tactician. After all, you have the potential to have up to 9 people in your party – depending on your choices. It’s not hard to see why that would make fighting feel like a snooze fest.
Modder oilnarak01, however, has the answer for that: a mod called Into the Void.
Its full name of ‘Into The Void – Take Everyone With You But Not In Combat’ is a perfectly apt description of what to expect. A mod where everyone can tag along, but with a click of a button, characters will slip into a void and only appear again after combat. This way, players are able to experience the fun of carting everyone around with them, while also making combat not feel like a walk in the park.
It does help that the mod makes this feature a togglable passive, rather than a spell that takes up an entire action in combat. A win/win, if you ask us.
