New DONT NOD game Harmony: The Fall of Reverie gets release date

On Thursday, DONT NOD Entertainment announced release dates for its next game, Harmony: The Fall of Reverie. The game will launch for PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch on June 8, and for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on June 22. A demo of the game is available on Steam until May 21, so players can check out the adventure before it releases.

Harmony: The Fall of Reverie is set in the near future and follows a young woman named Polly, who has just returned home after spending a few years abroad. She finds that her hometown has changed significantly; a corporation called MK has moved in and is using its power to control the populace, putting Polly’s community in danger.

Shortly after returning home, Polly discovers that she has the power of clairvoyance, which connects her to Reverie, the realm of of the Aspirations of Humanity: Glory, Bliss, Power, Chaos, Bond, and Truth. In this realm, Polly becomes Harmony, a goddess with the power to choose which of these Aspirations will ultimately control Reverie and restore the balance between the worlds of deities and mortals.

Harmony: The Fall of Reverie is a narrative-focused game; your choices as both Polly and Harmony will have consequences for both realms. To help guide your choices, you will get access to the Augural, a game board that also serves as a visual representation of Polly’s clairvoyance. As you make choices and progress through different paths, you will bond with and obtain crystals from different Aspirations, which will unlock additional pathways for you to pursue. The Aspirations are all separate entities with their own ideas of how to rule the realm, so who you put into power will change the very heart of humanity.

Those excited to check out H:TFoR can play the demo available on Steam until May 21. This demo includes the entire first act of the game and introduces most of the cast. The full game will launch on June 8 for PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch, and June 22 for Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5.
