Elden Ring DLC is coming
Elden Ring fans have been chomping at the bit for DLC ever since the game released, and now, after a year of waiting, the announcement that something is indeed coming is here.
FromSoftware Inc grabbed what felt like the majority of the games community by the throat with Elden Ring’s release. Even for players who have never been fond of FromSoftware’s previous games (aka me) were seemingly enamoured, and it’s not hard to see why. This fantasy RPG hits hard.
With such a strong community clamouring for DLC, it’s no surprise that an expansion for the game is in the works.
Announced via the official Elden Ring Twitter account, the tweet reads as follows:
“Rise, Tarnished, and let us walk a new path together. An upcoming expansion for #ELDENRING Shadow of the Erdtree, is currently in development. We hope you look forward to new adventures in the Lands Between.”
Outside of the title and the announcement that the expansion is currently still in development, there was no other information shared about Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree. Even so, speculation about what this could mean for the world of Elden Ring is already spreading throughout social media. After all, the figure shown in the image does seem to be riding Torrent, the player’s trusty steed.
