Doomsday Paradise brings spice to the RPG genre

Lemonade Flashbang, a one-developer studio operated and owned by Shadi Taha, is set to release Doomsday Paradise sometime this summer.

Described as “a goofy, multiplayer RPG that captures the essence of DnD – if the DM called in sick and the players ran the show”, Doomsday Paradise is chaotic in its premise.

Set in the sandy Sunset Town, a place where nobody ever stops partying for anything, players are given the opportunity to live through and tell the story about their final days before the upcoming apocalypse. The twist is that their final days change every single time, and the choices you make on that day matter, no matter how small they may be. With over 100 different endings to explore, that’s a lot of choices to make…

Players can either play through the adventure of Doomsday Paradise by themselves, or with friends. As it turns out, there seems to be plenty to do. Players can explore the town, meet up and get to know other NPCs that live in this sandy paradise, fight monsters in card-based battles, and then level up… Before they get to do it all over again. Alternatively, players can see the oncoming storm of existential threats and choose not to save the world at all, content to sit down with a fruity drink and watch the whole world burn. The choice is yours.

Doomsday Paradise also brings the saucy content to player’s too. There has been mention of quests that involve collecting sex toys, “befriending” serial killer bears, and fighting world-devouring monsters. Oh, and did we mention that you have the choice to choose to be a hot fish man with big pecs and an even bigger pr-personality! Sounds like an average Tuesday, if you ask us.

And, if you’re hopeless romantics (or just like to stare at hot people), then there will be romance options thanks to the numerous bachelors and bachelorettes that you can find about town. Let’s hope they are into the weird, but compelling combination of weird shenanigans that make up your form.

A demo for Doomsday Paradise will be available for players during the upcoming Steam Next Fest.
