Get in the Car, Loser! DLC coming in February
On Monday, Love Conquers All Games announced that new downloadable content for their game Get in the Car, Loser! will release on February 13. This is the game’s second DLC expansion and is called The Fate of Another World.
Get in the Car, Loser! is a turn-based RPG that follows a group of university-aged queer women who are trying to save the world from impending doom. Long ago, the hero of legend Agi of Roses used the Sword of Fate to lock away the Machine Devil for 1,000 years, but now cultist edgelords are doing everything they can to bring it back. The establishment Divine Order won’t allow them to fight back, so these young women decide to take matters into their own hands by taking a road trip to find the evil creature after stealing the legendary Sword of Fate.
The first DLC released for Get in the Car, Loser! was Battle on the Big Boardwalk. It takes place after the main game’s second act, with the crew trying to take a break on the beach when they’re rudely interrupted by an interdimensional sword thief who makes off with the Sword of Fate. Beyond story content, this DLC also added sexy beach outfits for all of the characters to wear whenever and 15 endgame items.
The Fate of Another World introduces a new storyline and characters outside of the core game’s cast. It focuses on one of the Sword of Fate’s wielders, librarian-turned-warrior Emily Harmless. In this world, a new wielder of the Sword is chosen every 976 years, and this time around Emily was the chosen one. Alongside the heir to the throne of the Kingdom Under Heaven, Prince Sam, Emily must step up to lock the Machine Devil away and try to find a life for herself in the ruins of her divine mission.
