Bunny bee officially joins XSET Purple ahead of NA VCT Game Changers Series III
On Wednesday, XSET announced that bunny bee (who uses any pronouns) is officially joining the XSET Purple Valorant squad, after playing as a substitute for the team during the NA VCT Game Changers Series III open qualifiers.
“Join us in officially welcoming our secret weapon @bxnnybee to XSET Purple,” XSET tweeted. “XSET Purple takes on TSM in an hour, see you then.”
It’s not surprising that XSET decided to make bunny bee a permanent part of their team after their performance together during the open qualifiers. Bunny bee lived up to their title of XSET Purple’s “secret weapon” throughout the qualifiers, but especially in their matchup against Gen.G Black.
Bunny bee came onto the XSET Purple squad to replace Elena “Ellie” Garland, who has moved to the TSM X roster. Before this, bunny bee played with North American Game Changers staple, unsigned squad Dart Monkeys.
Now in the first match of the NA VCT Game Changers Series III Main Event, XSET Purple and their new addition will face off against their former teammate when they take on TSM X. Bunny bee will have plenty to prove in this opening matchup to keep her new team in the upper bracket. If she can keep up the performance we saw during the open qualifiers, XSET Purple will likely make this a very interesting match for TSM X.
This Main Event is likely going to be an exciting one filled with surprises. Between roster changes and different teams qualifying this time around, there are several new players taking part in this tournament. With the Series II Main Event proving that the North American queens, Cloud9 White, aren’t invincible, who knows what we’ll see this time around.
