Cyberpunk 2077 1.5 update extends romance options
Cyberpunk 2077 just unleashed its 1.5 update, bringing the controversial game to both Xbox Series X/S and PS5.
The game was met with mixed reception from fans on release due to its numerous bugs, false promises, and more importantly, its handling of queer relationships and gender. Regardless of the latter, there are still players out there who are more than eager to get some more time with the game’s romance options, Judy, River, Panam, and Kerry. Thankfully, the 1.5 update is eager to deliver.
In the latest REDStreams Twitch stream, CD Projekt Red developers sat down to take fans through all of the improvements they’ve made to Cyberpunk 2077. From a rebalance to the game’s combat, economy, and AI, to various visual improvements, there do seem to have been more than a few quality of life changes made to the game.
Free DLC was also added in the latest update, ranging from new weapons and improved character customization – such as make-up and additional hair options – to the brand new apartments that V can now purchase from their computer. Players will even be able to customize said apartments to fit whatever V they choose to role-play as.
However, what stood out to us was how the romance between V and their chosen partner has been extended to make the relationships feel more authentic and genuine.
All of the Cyberpunk 2077 romance improvements in update 1.5
- Extended romances with Panam, Kerry, River and Judy by adding new messages and interactions.
- Added interactions in the homes of love interests, including sleeping in bed with a given partner.
These changes aren’t huge in shaping the game, but there’s no denying that players who love to interact with their chosen love interest will be plenty pleased with the Cyberpunk 2077 1.5 update – which is out now, by the way.
