I Just Want To Be Single is the best game for those of you out there who just want to be a gay, female protagonist without the pressure of having to date all of the cute girls that you meet. Yes, that’s right, this is a gay, anti-dating game where the goal is to end the game 100% single.
Players will take on the role of Aya, a timid and anxiety-ridden young woman that wants nothing but to ace her way through her final year of high school. The only problem is that, despite your anxiety and the pressure of making new friends in a new school, you find out quickly that your new haircut has made you very attractive to the people around you. Especially girls.
With you being oh-so-attractive, girls of all shapes and sizes can’t help but flock to you. But as you’ve constantly been telling everyone that comes up to you, you’re super happy with just being single. What, did you think I Just Want To Be Single was just the title of the game?
As the tagline so rightly points out, you don’t actually want a harem of cute girls, you just want to vibe and make friends! But 5 very different girls are out to make that impossible for you. Players will meet athletic, tomboy Akane; super rich and super idol Katsumi; mysterious Shizuka; big brains and grades Kaede and the unbeatable and unstoppable Nozomin!
This will be the very first game for publisher Tsundere Studio, and it’s already one that we’re sure will be plenty memorable considering how, usually, visual novel games are focused on the more romantic element. This time though? Finding yourself with a hot date is considered the bad end. Yikes!
