Life is Strange: True Colors teams up with LGBTQIA+ charity OutRight Action International
Life is Strange: True Colors has proven to be a number one hit for queer audiences, with bisexual protagonist Alex Chen and her story resonating with numerous players out there. Now the Life is Strange: True Colors team want to take it a step further, actively partnering with LGBTQIA+ charity, Outright Action International.
Outright Action International is a charity organization that has spent 30 years advocating for the rights of the LGBTQIA+ community. The charity has documented, defended, and advanced human rights for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, and queer people around the world. Not only this, but they’re a charitable organization that is dedicated to improving the lives of queer people in general. To say they do good work would probably be the understatement of the year.
With a huge LGBTQIA+ fanbase, partnering with OutRight Action Internation was a given. And so as a partner, Life is Strange has just launched a charitable campaign with musical artist mxmtoon, the singing voice of Alex Chen. In this campaign, players are given the chance to win a one-of-a-kind denim jacket – all they have to do is donate to OutRight Action International.
The jacket is simple, blue denim, but features a number of unique patches designed by the Life is Strange team. The patches are inspired by the themes, imagery, and symbolism within Life is Strange: True Colors, and there is even a special design by mxmtoon. There is also a special patch designed by the Life is Strange community, where a winner created a patch that conveyed a powerful, personal story.

At the time of writing, the campaign has raised over $4500 in donations. A significant amount, but there’s still a long way to go before the jacket can reach its $10000 goal.
