Extremely gay wizard RPG Ikenfell gets a limited physical edition
Ikenfell is a very, very, extremely, gay wizard and witchcraft-based tactical RPG from the minds of Happy Ray Games. It’s a video game that is not only super fun to play, but is diverse and inclusive, with there being maybe one single straight person in the whole cast. Yeah, it’s just that good. Not that there’s anything wrong with straight people. We’ve got straight friends.
Ikenfell was featured during the Gayming Awards 2021, where public votes pushed in droves to highlight this incredible game. It’s a turn-based RPG about a group of magic students who must band together to conquer a great evil that lives in the twisted halls of their vast, magic school.
Sounds good? Well, you’ll be happy to know you can even get yourself a physical copy of the game thanks to Limited Run Games.
Limited Run Games is offering two platforms for Ikenfell: PS4 and Nintendo Switch. Both are selling for $34.99 though, if you’re like, a super big fan of wizards and homoerotic tension, you can buy both for $69.99 with the mega bundle. The mega bundle comes with a complete set of trading cards for the game, a limited trading card from past or future games, as well as a guaranteed gold trading card from any of the games included. It should be noted that physical copies of Ikenfell are still currently in production, so you won’t be able to play the games straight away and must wait for a few months.
With so many goodies involved, it’s hard not to want to dip into your wallet. After all, Ikenfell is a gay wizard game whose creators aren’t actively trying to downplay its queer audience. On the contrary, Ikenfell knows that it’s diverse and inclusive, and only wants to convey that through its characters and world. If you’re expecting Harry Potter, then don’t.
