Verdant Isles: Teatime Adventures comes with a tea pairing and has an LGBTQ+ inclusive setting

As the world of tabletop role-playing games become more and more explored by its various creators, new and exciting things are releasing that challenge what we know about a typical Dungeons and Dragons adventure. One such thing is Verdant Isles: Teatime Adventures from Snowbright Studio.

Snowbright Studio is an LGBTQ+ game studio that is dedicated to creating some damn wholesome content, all while making it unique, fun and family-friendly so that everyone can get in on the fun and play to their heart’s content. And who doesn’t want to play a tea-sipping adventure when it comes with a new setting, new characters and a whole new range of features to make play enjoyable?

If all of that sounds neat to you, then you’ll enjoy Verdant Isles: Teatime Adventures. These adventures are compatible with Dungeons and Dragon’s 5th edition but are realized in a new setting called Oakenbend. There are three one-shot adventures based in this town overall, and each offers a rich narrative experience with gameplay mechanics that allow players to explore mysteries in new, exciting ways.

What stands out about these one-shots and setting, however, is that it includes real-life mechanics into the game too. With each one-shot, players will get a tea pairing that should be brewed alongside the adventure, as well as a scrumptious vegetarian recipe and, if that wasn’t enough for you, real-world plant advice. All three of these features will be there for the player to try at home, making this new setting and adventure from Snowbright Studios a unique experience for players and DM alike.

Unfortunately, there isn’t much more information about what to expect from these adventures as Verdant Isles: Teatime Adventures is not yet out – but its Kickstarter will open up during early August. To keep up to date with the studio, as well as the game, you should check out Snowbright Studio’s official website and the adventure’s Kickstarter page.
