Here are the best selling video games of March 2021

I’m happy that Mario Kart 8 is still in the top ten list because I heard on the radio this morning that it is officially the best selling racing video game of all time. Over 41,500,000 copies sold since its release in May 2017.

Even more interesting, it seems the video game industry has stabilized thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic. Even though countries around the world are beginning to open their businesses, video game and console sales are still up 18% when compared to the beginning of the virus. Maybe staying shut in reignited the love of gayming in retired players?

According to VentureBeat, these were the ten best selling video games of March 2021:

2. Monster Hunter: Rise
3. Outriders
4. Super Mario 3D World
5. Marvel’s Spider Man: Miles Morales
6. Mario Kart 8
7. Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla
8. Animal Crossing: New Horizons
9. Super Mario 3D: All Stars
10. Minecraft
