Become a digital ‘Big Brother’ houseguest in new smartphone game
When I was younger, I always wanted to audition for the hit summer-time reality show, Big Brother. Now, I guess I can do that to some extent?
“Big Brother: The Game” allows smartphone gaymers to enter the famed house to compete for virtual prizes and notoriety. 9th Impact, Banijay and Endemol Shine Group developed a game that allows you to make choices that directly affect your future in the competition and gives you the psychological and social backstabs that fans enjoy.
There’s only one catch: you need to pay $4.99 to play the game three times. This purchase allows you to enter the house for the first time. If you win “Big Brother: The Game,” you advance to a new house without spending any tokens. Eviction from the game sends you to a new house to begin a new adventure at the cost of one token.
“The Sims” meets Survivor in “Big Brother: The Game,” now available to download on Android and iOS; as well as on www.bigbrother.game.
It’s important to note that Big Brother was one of the first reality shows to routinely include gay cast-members every season.
