Can You Be Gay in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla?
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla may give you the option to drink other Vikings under the table, but does it give you the option to be gay? Now that’s what we want to know. After all, since Ubisoft has had a rather sketchy past when it comes to LGBT+ representation, who doesn’t want to know?
Well, while we can’t promise that Ubisoft won’t make DLC that’ll force Eivor into a heterosexual relationship and make them reproduce, we do know that in the base game, there are options that will let you smooch other Vikings – and have a fondle of their longswords too… Don’t judge us.
That’s right, gay romance is available in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Though if you’re expecting something as steamy as the sex scenes you see in Baldur’s Gate 3, then you’re going to be very disappointed.
But don’t worry, there’s still a lot to love about the romance options that you can find while wandering the world. Some are hunters, some will try to drink you under the table, and some just really want to bed you. Even for just one night.
From our very limited time with Valhalla, it looks as though it’s take on romance is the same as Assassin’s Creed Odyssey: short, but sweet. There are no ‘real’ connections or ties that bound you and your love interest together. It’s very much wham, bam, thank you ma’am.
To find out more about who and where these love interests are, we recommend looking at PCGamesN’s romance list – which is still being updated as more and more options are found!
The ‘Can You Be Gay’ guides are here to help you answer the most important question of all in video games. Check out the full series to look through which games you can and can’t be gay in.

So they learned nothing from Odyssey :/
There are romances that are more defined, but they are only female. But there are only 2 male romance options and they only one time.
That’s really sad 🙁
