Don’t Struggle with Hades – Turn on God Mode
It’s no surprise that Hades is all everyone can think of at the moment – us included – but that doesn’t mean we’ve all figured out. In fact, if you haven’t played the game before, you may not even know that Hades does, in fact, have a God Mode to help you if you’re struggling, or if you just want to get all the story ASAP.
As someone who turned on God Mode straight away after being told about it – rather than finding out in-game, as Hades isn’t the best at telling the player about the mode – let me just say that it does, indeed, make a difference.
How God Mode works in Hades is that, with each time you die, your damage resistance goes up. Currently I’m up to 34% and you can tell, I’m not dying as much and if I accept boons that also help raise my resistance, I really feel untouchable.
There’s no shame in turning on God Mode either – don’t let anyone tell you different. It’s helpful for players who may not have the same range of accessibility, and just need that extra push to help them get through the game. It’s certainly worth it, and if you’re interested, then head on over to Options where God Mode will be listed at the bottom.
And finally, you can beat the stuffing out of Theseus. God, we hate that guy.
