Here are the best selling video games of June 2020

I’m surprised to see The Last of Us Part 2 was the best selling video game in June 2020, said no one ever. The sequel to the Naughty Dog classic sold over 4,000,000 copies during its first week of release; certifying it as the second highest grossing Sony game of all time. On top of that accomplishment, it’s already the third most successful game of 2020 in terms of sales.

Due in part to the release of The Last of Us Part 2 and businesses still remaining closed around the world due to COVID-19, video games are continuing to see a sales boost, even though that trend is slowing down. Video game sales were up 29% from June 2019, according to AndroidCentral, with the Nintendo Switch being the best selling console.

And I guess with everyone being stuck at home, Ring Fit Adventure managed to climb back into the top 7 thanks to living room workouts.
