Autobots return to all major consoles with Transformers: Battlegrounds

I hope Mark Wahlberg and his big meat show up to save the day like in Transformers: The Last Knight and Transformers: Age of Extinction. I’m talking about his own brand of hamburger beef, of course, now available in stores across America!

Recently it was announced that Hasbro, Outright Games and Coatsink would launch Transformers: Battlegrounds on all major consoles this Fall. The upcoming release is the franchise’s first game to receive a Nintendo Switch edition and the first official Transformers game in five years.

The epic, timeless war between the Autobots and Decepticons continues in the game. The Hollywood Reporter describes the plot as: With evil Megatron closing in on the Allspark, Bumblebee and the Autobots need a new commander to help save Earth, as they team up and roll out into battles that will range from Central City to Cybertron in both single player and multiplayer action.”

Despite being a tactical adventure aimed at a younger audience, I’ve included the trailer for your eyes below and I have to say it looks better than I expected. It’ll be interesting to see what this game really has to offer as time goes on.

Find Transformers: Battlegrounds on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, XBox One and PC on 23 October 2020.
