Grow your own boyfriend in Signed and Sealed with a Kiss
Do you remember those grow your own sea monkeys kits that used to be kicking around when you were a kid? Well, in Reine Works’ new game, Signed and Sealed with a Kiss, you’ve got something better: your very own boyfriend! And no, we promise we don’t mean he starts off as a small alien-like thing on the first day.
The premise of LGBT+ friendly Signed and Sealed with a Kiss is fairly simple. One day you return home and find a package waiting for you. It turns out to be a man who calls himself a ‘doll.’ Through a set of misunderstandings, he ends up living with the player, even though he was supposed to be delivered to someone else’s address. So, I guess you just kinda committed a crime? But that’s fine, you’ve got a boyfriend now and that’s all that matters.
Now that you have your boyfriend, it’s up to you to create him the way you want to. He starts only as a ‘base’ boyfriend, having no real personality but looking to you for guidance. There are other variations however, such as the Bad Boy, the Prince, and the Flirt boyfriend, all of which have different conversations and endings. There’s also an option for a Thrillseeker and Fashionista boyfriend too in the expansion DLC. All you have to do to get these personalities is to influence your boyfriend’s pastimes or job.
With up to 15 to 20 hours of gameplay, we’re sure that players will find the boyfriend of their dreams in this visual novel.
The only downside, however, is that currently Signed and Sealed with a Kiss is trying to get full funding on Kickstarter. Reine Works are offering a number of different pledges that’ll help with funding, and even physical goods like postcards and keychains.
