The latest Animal Talking episode just made our lives better

Quarantine has changed us all in ways that none of us would have thought possible. While not all for the better, I doubt anyone would have saw coming that Rogue One’s screenwriter, Gary Whitta, would win our hearts and souls with an Animal Crossing talk show named Animal Talking. It sounds like a cut episode from the Netflix series, BoJack Horseman, doesn’t it?

But it’s 2020, and we’re always up for being surprised by anything that it throws our way – particularly if that thing is something pleasant. And as far as we’re concerned, Animal Talking fits that criteria to a T.

Whitta originally started Animal Talking by just having a bit of fun and making a basement that looked more like a talk show TV set. But it grew bigger, and now it has guests like Elijah Wood, Danny Trejo, and even T-Pain appearing on set.

It’s been a huge success, but it was Thursday night’s show that had us feeling overwhelmed with joy. The simplicity of this talk show’s guests, including the Twitter user who hosted Wood on her island, directedbyrian, just dancing around in circles has made our day.

Talk shows aren’t the only thing that Animal Crossing has allowed us to watch. Drag shows are a huge thing that’s taken Nintendo’s Animal Crossing by storm — even contributor Ed Nightingale attended one!

We definitely encourage you to catch up with Animal Talking if possible. It’s the wholesome antidote we need in these troubling times.
