Resident Evil 3 Remake demo incoming

In a move that’s either fortuitous for fans or somewhat ironic, Capcom have announced a free demo for the forthcoming Resident Evil 3 Remake in the same week as Corona-gate.

Available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on March 19th, it’s a chance to jump into Jill Valentine’s shoes and headshot some zombies as she escapes Racoon City with Nemesis in hot pursuit.

Compared to last year’s Resident Evil 2 Remake, this next game in the series promises more action but you’ll still need to conserve ammo in typical Resi fashion.

Following soon after, Capcom are also releasing an Open Beta for asymmetrical co-op horror game Resident Evil Resistance on March 27th. Arguably taking its cue from Dead By Daylight, you’ll play as either a Survivor escaping a “twisted experiment” or if you’re “feeling sinister” the Mastermind manipulating the environment to thwart their escape. Call us sinister but the latter certainly sounds intriguing.

Resident Evil Resistance will be included with the Resident Evil 3 Remake package when it releases on April 3rd. Nemesis awaits!
