Only you can stop the caffeine shortage in Coffee Crisis
The world is currently in the grips of a toilet paper shortage, and if you’re in Mega Cat Studios Land, then you’re in the midst of a coffee shortage, too! Or should we say, a Coffee Crisis?
Earlier this winter, Mega Cat Studios, and Zerouno Games brought Coffee Crisis to the Nintendo Switch and Xbox. Described as a neo-rogue arcade-brawler, this game follows baristas with heavy metal and caffeine in the veins as they fend off an alien assault. The Smurgliens have been watching Earth for years and have decided our most valuable resource is coffee. When they try to steal it all for themselves, you are tasked with sending them back to their home planet.
Gameplay features include single-player and local co-op campaigns, seven different power-ups, high-tech weapons boosts, eight boss battles, the ability to visit real Pittsburgh locations, and a soundtrack comprised of twelve metal tracks.
Coffee Crisis is now available on Nintendo Switch and Xbox, as well as Steam.
