Baldur’s Gate 3 early access will release this year
Baldur’s Gate 3 early access will release this year, joining Larian Studio’s other titles such as Divinity Original Sin 2, which was also had an early access release. The game was improved later on, and has since been titled as one of the best RPGs ever. Some may argue that this can only mean good things for Baldur’s Gate 3.
The announcement of Baldur’s Gate 3 early access on Steam came from Hasbro during an investor event at the New York Toy Fair. According to DSOGaming, Hasbro also revealed that “it has seven D&D games under development,” and that it plans to reveal Baldur’s Gate 3 and Dark Alliance sometime in 2020.
Baldur’s Gate 3 has been on everyone Dungeons and Dragon’s fans minds since it was first revealed back in mid-2019. It didn’t feature too much information, only showing off a mercenary from the group, Flaming Fist, transforming into a mind flayer and cutting to the background where a dozen of mind flayers are in the background.
For those who are interested but aren’t sure where to start, you’re now able to get both Baldurs Gate games on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch. They are both pretty old, so as you may have suspected, some things don’t translate over as well anymore.
That said, if you’re a player of Dungeons and Dragons tabletop, you can also do a run-through of the campaign, Descent into Avernus. It’s the prequel to Baldur’s Gate 3 and it gives you a chance to try your hand at tabletop games. What’s not to love?
