Our Top 5 Party Games
Who doesn’t love a good party now and then? Of course, depending on your friend group, this may also be a sacrificial ritual of your friendship, but hell, as long as everyone’s having a good time it shouldn’t matter at all. With that in mind, we’re here to tell you about our top five party games and why you should play them.
Some may not be your cup of tea, but if there’s one thing we’re certain of, it’s going to give you some brand new options when you turn on your Switch when out with friends.
Onto the list!
Trivial Pursuit
There’s nothing like some healthy competition to get the blood pumping between you and your friends, or if you want to be extra gnarly, you and your family.
There are a ton of different categories for you to play against, such as Geography, Arts, Entertainment and even the dreaded Sports. No matter what, you’ll find someone to play with.
Awkward
Awkward is, as you may have already guessed, is a game that will have you wriggling around in discomfort. It’ll also put your friendship to the test, as these questions can get a little…awkward.
Questions such as ‘who’s the better kisser’, and ‘if you had to pick between Mike or Sally to live with forever, who would you pick’ are just some of the milder questions this game throws at you.
Sausage Sports Club
This website wouldn’t be allowed to be called Gayming Magazine if it didn’t have a game called Sausage Sports Club. Despite the name, everything and anything can be a sausage if you try hard enough. No, we won’t go on record with that…
In this game, you and your friends will be able to play where you’ll compete in tons of game modes like Soccer, Sumo and Capture the Flag. Typical sausage activities, you know.
Mario Party
The worst and best game around, Super Mario Party for the Nintendo Switch. The best because you’ll be able to spend hours playing and laughing with your friends, and the worst because afterward, you’re going to regret even playing with them in the first place after they’ve stolen all your Stars.
But don’t worry, a quick game of baseball will make it all worth it.
Taiko No Tatsujin
It’s time to beat your drums with friends in Taiko No Tatsujin! In this game, you’ll be able to perform a number of different songs, from Tales of Berseria to Persona, from Japan’s biggest, brightest games.
The only downside? Sore arms. Very sore arms.
Find Your Player 2
Gayming Magazine has teamed up with gay relationships app Chappy to use their Friend Mode to make it even easier for you to find friends to hang out and game with, in person or online!
