Did someone say Party? Petoons arrives on the Switch
Move over, Super Mario Party! There’s a new title looking to steal your party game crown! Just kidding. I was only being dramatic. That will probably never happen in our lifetime. But, at least you can use this game to get mad at your friends while getting drunk.
Petoons Party has officially arrived on Nintendo Switch after being released on the PC, XBox and PS4 in December 2018. Now, you and three players can enjoy three game modes, four boards, four cups, 28 mini-games and a ton of small, adorable creatures in the world developed by Petoons Studios. As of this writing, it’s only downloadable in European Nintendo Stores, but a North American debut is pending.
In Petoons Party, you can play as seven wacky creatures known as – you guessed it – Petoons as they work together to save Kimera Island from the villainous Kitra. With high quality graphics and fun animations, unite with your best friends to help these best friends save their world!
I went snooping for reviews, and found that Petoons Party has received mixed-positive critiques so far; with one writer noting that you need to use the controller for the game to be at its highest proficiency. So, while child-like in its approach, this could be a worthwhile addition to spruce up your next group activity.
Petoons Party is now available on Nintendo Switch in the UK and other European countries. Will you be purchasing your copy?
