Paws Up: Cat Quest II Debuts on Steam 24 September, Consoles This Fall.

But is there a cat that flies on rainbows? No, seriously, assuming you can level up your kittens, I’m all about this game.

It was announced today that Cat Quest II, the sequel to the 2017 game, will debut exclusively on Steam this 24 September. Publisher PQube and developer The Gentlebros will follow up that release with console distribution to PlayStation 4, XBox One and Nintendo Switch this Fall. That date is still pending. Get ready for a 2D, open-world action RPG that’s almost too cute to handle.

Cat Quest II once again finds a fantasy realm of cats and dogs, and allows you to play as either species. The pet-friendly realm is under threat from a continuing war between the cats of Felingard and the hounds of Lupus Empire. In Cat Quest II, two kings are brought together against their will to join the battle and reclaim their thrones. Explore the kingdoms solo or with a friend and defend the world that you hold dear.

Game-play features include co-op gameplay, character switch mechanic; more spells and new weapons; new passive abilities that can be combined; varied dungeons with new traps and enemies; a multitude of side quests; and deeper lure into the Cat Quest universe.
