DIGIPRIDE Esports Tournament featuring League of Legends

Use this form to sign up for the Gayming DIGIPRIDE Esports Tournament featuring League of Legends, held July 29, 2023 from 12:00 PM EST to 8:00 PM EST. 

Sign ups close July 15, 2023. Both individual and team registrations are allowed. Individual Registrants will be placed on a team, with a goal of placing them in their preferred roles. If we are not able to find a team for registrants, they will be notified in advance of the tournament that they could not be placed, and can not participate.

This event will be streamed to the Gayming Magazine and CMSA eSports Twitch and TikTok Channels; by signing up, players agree to appear in this streamed event and any video footage created from it. This footage might be shared to other social media platforms and used for future promotion.

Tournament Rules

The Gayming DIGIPRIDE Esports Tournament will be broken into three divisions based on player rank during this season and the previous season of League of Legends. Players that register as teams will be placed in the division associated with the highest-ranked player. 

Each division will have a Double Elimination Tournament Bracket.  Winners of each match will continue in the winners bracket until their first loss, in which case they will be moved to a losers bracket. Losing teams will continue to play until their second loss in which case they will be removed from the tournament. The final match will be a best of 3 between the top team in both the winners and losers bracket.

Prizing

The top team of each division will receive the following prizes:

Winning Team, Diamond-Masters Division: $500 per team ($100 per player)

Winning Team, Gold-Platinum Division: $500 per team ($100 per player)

Winning Team, Bronze-Silver Division: $500 per team ($100 per player)

Player Expectations

Players must join the CMSA eSports Discord at: www.cmsadiscord.com, where all game-day logistics will be centered out of.

Players must arrive in the Pride Cup Voice Lobby at 11:45 EST for attendance and kick-off logistics. Anyone not present between 11:45 EST and 12:00 EST may not be permitted to participate in the tournament.

Players must comply with the community guidelines found in found in the #community-rules channel of the CMSA eSports Discord.

Players must participate in all games in order to be eligible for prizes.

All Player accounts MUST have a ranking in League of Legends within the last season, between Bronze and Masters.

Players must report any alternate accounts if they are higher ranked than their main account.

Players identified to be “smurfing” or utilizing under-leveled accounts in order to excel in lower divisions will be removed from the tournament and result in their team being disqualified.
