Find love in the psychological horror game, Lucid Heart
Maybe love and horror don’t always go together, but don’t let that stop you from trying! Lucid Heart, a game by studio Box Cat Entertainment, puts you in the shoes of a protagonist (male or female) who wakes up in an imaginary world with no recollection of how they got there. Hey, just like an anime!
Despite having no recollection, you manage to find your way throughout this new, terrifying world. With some help from handsome strangers, of course.
However, not everything looks to be fine. Even though you’ve only just appeared, disdain towards you for no apparent reason is enough to make anyone jumpy. Just what is happening here, and what have you got to do with it? Also, why do all the ladies have their boobs out while the men are covered head-to-toe?
These are the questions that will need answering as you play. But, according to the game’s currently-active Kickstarter, mystery isn’t everything. You’ll meet six characters throughout your journey, and will have the chance to get closer to any of them. What makes this even better is that, it doesn’t matter what gender you are, you’ll be able to choose the boy or girl of your dreams as everyone is bisexual. Score!
And for those of you who want to see more steamy scenes, you’ll get your wish as the game is rated to be 18+. The game’s page also used the age rating of 16, so perhaps the more NSFW scenes can be skipped.
Lucid Heart is almost funded, but if you want a chance to get early access to the game, you can still show your support by backing the project. There are also stretch goals, with one option being more love interests. So if you want more love, you know what to do.
