The Sims 4 reveals upcoming kits
The Sims Twitter account posted teasers for the The Sims 4’s upcoming DLC kits on Thursday. The upcoming kits are both somewhat night themed, with one focusing on camping out under the stars called the Little Campers kit, and the other about exploring a city at night called Moonlight Chic. Both kits will be available in The Sims 4 on May 26.
The Moonlight Chic kit was “inspired by the Parisian creator, Paola Locatelli,” and features “sophisticated sets, flowing shirts, and a slinky dress that can help your Sim find that spark with fashions built to last.”
Meanwhile, the Little Camper kit is all about setting up your backyard “for a night of creative family fun.” The kit is definitely more geared towards the children in your Sims’ home, allowing your Sims’ kids to “enjoy a cozy night at home with their friends.” You can do this by setting up DIY toys, blanket forts, and an outdoor bedsheet projector screen.
These kits were announced earlier in the month in the most recent game road map update about The Sims 4. It was a fairly vague announcement, but did confirm that a new game and two kits would be coming to the game across May and June. They’re the next DLC after The Sims 4 Wedding Stories, which released in February. A big highlight for these kits, aside from the simple existence of more Sims 4 content, is that they seem to indicate werewolves are coming to The Sims 4 as well.
The two kits were originally teased as “Chic Nights Out” and “Cozy Nights In,” which map pretty clearly onto Moonlight Chic and Little Campers. The game expansion was teased as “Go Wild.” In combination with the nighttime theme and prominent moon imagery, it seems like the franchise’s staple supernatural beast men may finally be making their debut in The Sims 4 soon.
