New Animal Crossing Winter Event to arrive this week
Animal Crossing and a Winter event? Well, sign us right up! We’ll be honest, we haven’t been playing Animal Crossing for a while, but if there’s one thing to get us into the Christmas spirit, it may just be this game…
Animal Crossing has added a fantastic amount of new content since its release earlier this year. We’ve had fireworks, spooooopy ghosts, love hearts and we’ve even started swimming at ridiculous times of the day! So, what does the Winter Event have in store for us?
Well the Winter update comes this Thursday, where things will start to get frosty! The very first event of Winter will occur on the 26th November – Turkey Day! You’ll have the chance to meet the professional chef, Franklin and get to making a feast fit for kings!
Then there’s Toy Day on the 24th of December, day of delivering presents and speaking with the black-nosed reindeer, Jingle. Treat your favourite villagers with the presents they so rightly deserve!
This Winter update will also add two more redeemable items – both of which you can obtain with Nook Miles. These are some new reactions – such as ta-da and excited – and six new hairstyles. You’ll also get the chance to increase your house storage from 1600 to 2400.
The next free update for Animal Crossing will occur in late January next year.
