Imagine Being Stepped on By These Pokemon Boots
I’m always amazed at how incredibly creative people are. Pinterest, a picture-focused website, is helpful for discovering new creations and giving everyone ideas like peacock trenchcoats and what have you. Which is why I’m only a little surprised that I wasn’t the one to think about Pokemon boots first. Granted, there would be a lot more Charizard involved if I had, but that’s neither here nor there.
As Go Nintendo so rightly pointed out, Pokemon Co are no strangers to anything fashion. They have shirts, wristbands, face masks – why not add boots to their lineup?
Teaming up with retailer Zara, Pokemon and Zara have come together to release boots that we’d never have expected: Pokemon boots with small Pokeballs to replace the original heel. The bottom has been flattened, so don’t worry, you won’t be falling.
It costs ¥199 to order on the website, so around $28 US dollars. More importantly, I wonder what it would be like to be stepped on by one of these bad boys. And not even in a sexual way, though that’s okay too, but if you were to kick someone – in self-defence of course – would you be well-defended?
There’s a lot of questions here, so the only answer is to obviously buy a pair for myself. Maybe get an Original Stitch shirt to go with it, too.
