Apex Legends Revenant is officially unveiled
Apex Legends Revenant is a character that we weren’t expecting when we saw that the Apex Legends new season was on the horizon. After all, why would we? It was only recently that Respawn revealed Forge, a brash, brawny guy who apparently had a thing (he didn’t) with Bangalore and thought the rest of the Legends was chumps.
Well, that didn’t end well after an interview left Forge gutted live on TV. His death? Thanks to the hands of a robotic hitman who goes by the name of Revenant.
When the interview was first presented on the 27th of January, Forge was thought to be the next Legend joining the characters we already know and love. Revenant’s arrival stopped that, and now Apex Legends have revealed another trailer.
Meet Revenant, who’s trailer reveals more about this ‘man’ than meets the eye. As the Apex Legends Twitter account has been revealing bit by bit, it is implied that the events in this trailer occurred 25 years ago. It explains more about Revenant’s motivation at the very least, but it also leaves a thousand questions.
Namely this: who is Revenant really, and why has he come back to take his revenge now?
We’re not sure, but the answers to that question will, presumably, be answered when the fourth season of Apex Legends – Assimilation – releases on Xbox One, PS4 and PC on February 4th.
