DIGIPRIDE Esports Tournament featuring Fortnite

Use this form to sign up for the Gayming DIGIPRIDE Esports Tournament featuring Fortnite, held July 30, 2023 from 12:00 PM EST to 6:00 PM EST.

Sign ups close July 15, 2023. The tournament is limited to 120 participants.

This event will be streamed to the Gayming Magazine and CMSA eSports Twitch and TikTok Channels; by signing up, players agree to appear in this streamed event and any video footage created from it. This footage might be shared to other social media platforms and used for future promotion.

Tournament Rules

The Gayming DIGIPRIDE Esports Tournament will be conducted using the Solos Zero Build – Battle Royale format, and consist of three phases:

Phase 1: Players will be split into two groups, and participate in 4 games, accumulating points through placements and eliminations. Scoring details can be found below. The top half of each group will move on to Phase 2.

Phase 2: Players will again play 4 games, accumulating points through placements and eliminations. Scoring details can be found below.

Phase 3: The Top 5 players from Phase 2 will be dropped into a custom map deathmatch, for final placement.

Prizing

The top 3 finishers of Phase 3 will receive the following prizes:

First Place Prize: $300

Second Place Prize: $200

Third Place Prize: $100

Player Expectations

Players must join the CMSA eSports Discord at: www.cmsadiscord.com, where all game-day logistics will be centered out of.

Players must arrive in the Pride Cup Voice Lobby at 11:45 EST for attendance and kick-off logistics. Anyone not present between 11:45 EST and 12:00 EST may not be permitted to participate in the tournament.

Players must comply with the community guidelines found in found in the #community-rules channel of the CMSA eSports Discord.

Players must participate in all games in order to be eligible for prizes.

Scoring

Games will be scored using the following rubric. Players will receive points based on their placement and eliminations. Each elimination will award a player 2 points.

Victory Royale: 25 Points
2nd: 22 Points
3rd: 20 Points
4th: 18 Points
5th: 17 Points
6th: 16 Points
7th: 15 Points
8th: 14 Points
9th: 13 Points
10th: 12 Points
11th: 11 Points
12th: 10 Points
13th: 9 Points
14th: 8 Points
15th: 7 Points
16th: 6 Points
17th: 5 Points
18th – 19th: 4 Points
20th – 21st: 3 Points
22nd – 23rd: 2 Points
24th – 25th: 1 Point
